Equipment

  • 1 Container with a lid
  • 1 Bowl

Ingredients

  • 2 Weetabix
  • 120 ml Semi Skimmed Milk (or milk of your choice)
  • 200 g Strawberry Protein Yoghurt
  • 15 g Strawberry Jam Conserve
  • 1 tsp Maple Syrup
  • 6 large Strawberries (sliced)
  • 1 tsp Sweetener (optional)

Instructions

  • Crumble the Weetabix: In a separate mixing bowl, crush the Weetabix into fine crumbs. Add the milkmaple syrup, and sweetener (if using), and mix well until fully combined.
  • Layer the Base: Transfer the soaked Weetabix mixture into your storage container, spreading it evenly to form the base layer.
  • Add the Yoghurt: Spread the entire pot of strawberry protein yoghurt evenly over the soaked Weetabix layer.
  • Swirl the Jam: Swirl the jam gently to combine with the Yoghurt.
  • Top with Strawberries: Arrange the sliced strawberries on top of the yogurt layer for a fresh, fruity finish.
  • Refrigerate Overnight: Cover the container with a lid and refrigerate overnight to allow the flavours to meld and the Weetabix to soften.
  • Serve and Enjoy: In the morning, grab your container and enjoy this high-protein, fruity breakfast straight from the fridge.

Notes

Meal Prep Tip:

Prepare multiple servings in separate containers for a week of quick, nutritious breakfasts. The overnight Weetabix keeps well for up to 3 days in the fridge.

Customizations:

  • Change the Jam: Swap the strawberry jam for raspberry or apricot for a different flavour profile.
  • Add Toppings: Sprinkle with chia seeds, granola, or a few crushed nuts for added texture and nutrients.
  • Go Dairy-Free: Use plant-based milk and yogurt for a dairy-free version of this recipe.
